How to Use a Happijac Toy Hauler Bed Lift

Toy Hauler Bed Lift RVs that are designed to carry toys, such as side-by-sides, ATVs, and motorcycles. They typically have a large rear compartment that can be used to store toys, and a bed that can be raised or lowered to create more space.

The Happijac toyhauler bedlift is a system that allows you to raise and lower the bed in the back of your toy hauler RV. This is useful for a variety of reasons, including:

  • To create more space for your toys. If you have side-by-sides, ATVs, or other large toys, you can raise the bed to create more headroom in the back of your RV. This can be especially helpful if you are transporting tall toys, such as side-by-sides.
  • To make it easier to get in and out of your RV. If the bed is lowered, it can be difficult to get in and out of the back of your RV, especially if you have mobility issues. Raising the bed makes it much easier to get in and out.
  • To create a more comfortable sleeping area. If you are using the bed as a sleeping area, raising it can give you more headroom and make it more comfortable to sleep. This is especially helpful if you are tall or if you have a lot of pillows.

This is what the toyhauler bed looks like in the down position

Here are the steps on how to use a toyhauler bedlift:

  1. Make sure that the bed is locked in the down position. There are usually two latches on each side of the bed that need to be engaged in order to lock it in place. If the bed is not locked in place, it could raise or lower unexpectedly, which could be dangerous.
  2. Locate the control panel for the bedlift. This is usually located near the door to the back of the RV. The control panel may have buttons for raising and lowering the bed, as well as a button for locking and unlocking the bed.
  3. Press the “up” button on the control panel. The bed will start to raise. The speed at which the bed raises will vary depending on the model of bedlift.
  4. Continue pressing the “up” button until the bed is in the desired position. Once the bed is in the desired position, it will stop raising.
  5. If you are using the bed as a sleeping area, you may want to adjust the height of the bed so that you have enough headroom. You can do this by pressing the “up” or “down” button on the control panel until the bed is at the desired height.
  6. Once the bed is in the desired position, press the “down” button on the control panel to lower it. The bed will start to lower. The speed at which the bed lowers will vary depending on the model of bedlift.
  7. Once the bed is in the down position, it will stop lowering. You can then engage the latches on each side of the bed to lock it in place.

Some additional tips for using a toyhauler bedlift:

  • Be sure to lock the bed in place when it is in the down position. This will prevent it from accidentally raising while you are driving.
  • If you are using the bed as a sleeping area, be sure to raise it enough so that you have enough headroom.
  • If you are transporting large toys, be sure to raise the bed all the way so that there is enough clearance.
  • If you are having trouble raising or lowering the bed, you can usually find a manual release lever somewhere on the bed. This lever will allow you to raise or lower the bed manually.
  • If you are using the bedlift for the first time, it is a good idea to practice raising and lowering the bed before you go on a trip. This will help you get familiar with the controls and make sure that you know how to use the bedlift safely.

We hope to see you on the road some day, until then, stay safe
