Back in 2022, about 15 RVs pulled into Suttler Post Clydesdale Farm in Mechanicsville, Maryland. FindUsCamping were the farm’s very first Harvest Hosts campers. Fast forward to October 8–11, 2026, when over 100 RVs rolled in. The Barn Party has become one of the biggest weekends on the Village calendar.

The Clydesdales stole the show

The real headliners were the Suttler Post Clydesdales. They were out in the paddock, and they pulled a wagon full of villagers around the farm. If you have never stood next to a Clydesdale, they are even bigger than you think.

Good food, good talks and a whole lot of Village

Long tables, home-cooked food and plenty of time to catch up. Madison from SkyMed spoke to the Village in the farm’s brand new pavilion about getting travelers home safely, RV and all, if something goes wrong on the road.

Two bands and Kate Watson

When the lights came up, Kate Watson, all the way from Texas, took the stage under the flag with her band. Then a second band kept the music going, and the Barn Party lived up to its name.
