Where it all started. Four rigs, one road and the very first FindUsCamping West Crawl.
What was the West Crawl?
The 2024 FindUsCamping West Crawl was our very first RV crawl. Four rigs hit the highway together, talking the whole way over the radios (“Heads up, car on the side of the road, big bump coming up!”). The first stop was Wythe Raceway in Virginia, a Harvest Hosts spot with dirt track racing.

Four rigs, one road
The West Crawl kicked off with four rigs cruising down the highway together. We fueled up at our favorite stop, Love's, with the trucks all lined up under the lights.
Wythe Raceway, Virginia
We pulled into Wythe Raceway with checkered flags in our heads, then found out the race was moved to Sunday. Silver lining: Sunday became one big full day of dirt track racing.
A hidden gem in a gas station
Food choices were limited, so we tried El Burrito Loco, a Mexican restaurant tucked inside a gas station. The staff squeezed in all 12 of us, the food was fresh and the laughter never stopped.
