This RV Resort is a beautiful campground nestled on Chincoteague Island, Virginia, with stunning views of the Chincoteague Bay and its abundant wildlife. The campground also has direct access to Assateague Island National Seashore, where visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming.

This RV resort offers a variety of amenities for its guests, including a zero-entry pool, playground, dog park, food truck, and camp store. The campground also hosts a variety of activities and events throughout the year, such as live music, campground activities, and who knows you might just get lucky and experience a rocket launch from Wallops Island.

The FindUsCamping summer campout at Sun Outdoors Chincoteague Bay RV Resort was full of fun activities for the whole family. The first night, campers checked in and some enjoyed a relaxing dinner before the festivities began. On the second day, campers toured Chincoteague Island, visited Assateague Island National Seashore and the Assateague Lighthouse, and enjoyed a potluck dinner, cornhole tournament, and campfire s’mores. The final day, campers said their goodbyes, but not without promising to “campout” again soon.

Chincoteague Island is located in Accomack County, Virginia, on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The island is separated from the mainland by the Chincoteague Bay and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Chincoteague Island is approximately 100 miles east of Norfolk, Virginia, and 200 miles south of Baltimore, Maryland.
